Shipping Policy
Production times, delivery estimates, costs and customs information.
This policy explains how we produce, package and ship orders placed at labrats.uk. The Site is operated by The Metavision Multimedia Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as Labrats. Most of our products are produced on demand by Printful and shipped from their nearest fulfilment centre.
1. Where we ship
We ship to the United Kingdom and to most international destinations. If your country is not available at checkout, please email us — we may still be able to help.
2. Production time
Because our products are made to order, please add production time to the delivery time:
- Apparel (T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts): typically 2–5 business days to produce.
- Accessories (mugs, stickers, bags, posters): typically 2–5 business days to produce.
- Embroidered items: up to 7 business days.
Production time is in addition to shipping time and is outside our direct control.
3. Estimated delivery times
After production, typical shipping windows are:
Destination: United Kingdom · Standard: 3–5 business days · Express (where available): 1–3 business days
Destination: Europe (EU/EEA) · Standard: 5–10 business days · Express (where available): 3–5 business days
Destination: United States / Canada · Standard: 5–10 business days · Express (where available): 3–6 business days
Destination: Rest of world · Standard: 10–20 business days · Express (where available): varies by carrier
These are estimates from major carriers (Royal Mail, DPD, USPS, FedEx, DHL and similar) and not guarantees. Customs checks, weather and seasonal volume can add time.
4. Shipping costs
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your destination, the items in your cart and the service chosen. We display the cost before you pay so there are no surprises.
We may from time to time offer free UK shipping over a certain order value or during a promotion; the threshold and any conditions will be shown on the Site.
5. Order tracking
Once your order ships, we send a confirmation email with a tracking number and link. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking to update after dispatch.
6. Multiple shipments
Orders that include items produced at different facilities may arrive in separate parcels at different times, at no extra cost to you. Each parcel will have its own tracking number.
7. Customs, duties and taxes (international orders)
UK customers: the price you pay at checkout includes VAT where applicable.
International customers: your local customs authority may charge import duties, taxes or handling fees on goods entering your country. These charges are your responsibility and are not included in our prices or shipping costs. If a parcel is refused at customs and returned to the sender, we may deduct the return-shipping cost from your refund.
8. Incorrect address
Please check your shipping address carefully at checkout. If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable because of an incorrect or incomplete address, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Re-shipping may incur an additional charge.
9. Delays and lost parcels
If your parcel is significantly later than the estimates above:
- check the tracking link in your shipping email;
- check with neighbours, household members and your local depot;
- contact us at contact@themetavision.co.uk with your order number.
If a parcel is genuinely lost in transit (typically 21+ business days for international, 14+ for UK after dispatch) we will arrange a replacement or refund. See our Returns & Refunds Policy for details.
10. Damaged in transit
If your order arrives damaged, please email us within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the parcel and the damaged items. We will arrange a free replacement or refund.
