The rules for using our site and the contract for purchases you make.
These Terms govern your use of labrats.uk ("the Site") and any purchases you make from it. The Site is operated by The Metavision Multimedia Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as Labrats ("we", "us", "our").
By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Using the site
You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- use the Site in a way that breaks any law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, the servers it runs on or any connected database;
- introduce viruses, worms, trojans or other malicious material;
- scrape, mirror, frame or systematically copy any part of the Site without our written permission;
- use any automated tool, bot or AI agent to interact with the Site in a manner that disrupts service or extracts data at scale;

3. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, characters, illustrations, logos, video, audio, designs, brand identity and code — is owned by or licensed to The Metavision Multimedia Limited and is protected by copyright, trade marks and other intellectual property rights. The Labrats characters, world and associated artwork are our intellectual property.
You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, sell, modify, train AI models on, or create derivative works from any of our content without our prior written permission.
4. Products and orders
4.1 Product listings
We try to make sure all product descriptions, images and prices on the Site are accurate. Colours may appear differently on different screens, and slight variations in print, position and finish are normal for our print-on-demand garments and accessories. We reserve the right to correct errors and to refuse or cancel orders containing pricing or description errors, including after an order has been confirmed.
4.2 Placing an order
When you place an order, you make an offer to buy the products at the listed price. The contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline an order at our discretion — for example if a product is out of stock, the price was wrong, or we suspect fraud — and will refund any payment taken for a declined order.
4.3 Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Shipping is calculated at checkout. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
4.4 Fulfilment
Most physical products are produced on demand by Printful and similar print-on-demand partners. See our Shipping Policy for production and delivery times. Title to the goods passes to you on delivery; risk passes when the goods are handed to the carrier.
4.5 Cancellations, returns and refunds
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these Terms. See our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details, including the 14-day cooling-off period and the limits that apply to personalised or custom-printed items.
5. User-generated content
If we ever invite you to submit content (reviews, comments, social tags), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display that content in connection with the Site and our marketing. You confirm that the content is your own, does not infringe third-party rights and is not unlawful. We may remove any content at our discretion.
6. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, practices or policies. Following an external link is at your own risk.
7. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law (including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015).
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of data or loss of opportunity, and our total liability arising out of or in connection with any single order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
8. Events outside our control
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including strikes, postal disruption, supplier failures, severe weather, fire, flood, acts of government, pandemics, war or civil disturbance.
9. Privacy
How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. By using the Site you agree to that policy.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after we publish updated Terms means you accept them.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom, you may bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
